"Our air went out Thursday before Labor Day weekend. We went to Angies list to find contractors and read reviews. We called Ledlow's first. Mr. Ledlow said he didn't think he could get to us, but he would call us in a few hours to see if he could work us in. Thinking he would not be able to get to us, we called other highly rated companies. Because of the upcoming holiday weekend, the soonest anyone could come out was the following Tues. Temps were in the mid 90's. Mr. Ledlow did call us back and said it would be late in the day, but he would be there. He arrived and quickly found the issue and got us up and running. I began to tell him the cooling issues we were having the last few years and the high power bills we had. He asked if he could look around at our indoor returns and vents. He even went under the house to check things out. We found out our furnace is a 1987 model and our cooling unit was from 1990. I then told him we would be interested in a new system. As it was late in the day, I asked if he could come back after the holiday and work up a quote. Mr. Ledlow came back and did many calculations, counted vents, etc. We found out we didn't have the right balance of returns and vents and that some vents were disconnected. In addition we needed additional vents. Mr. Ledlow worked up a quote after calculating what size unit we needed. He also stressed having a unit too large is as bad as having one too small. We accepted and he started the following week. He and his helper Paul, were punctual and very polite throughout the process. They cleaned up as they went and worked late each day they were there. They moved the new unit to a different location under the house as we asked, and made it where we can now change the filter from in the house instead of from under the house. The process could not have gone better and we are very satisfied with our new unit, The outside unit is very quiet and our house has never been cooler! As a side note, when we purchase the unit from them, they insulate the attic for just the cost of the insulation. We would HIGHLY recommend Ledlow's for any of your heating and air needs. They are honest, professional people and it was a pleasure to have them install our new system."

"Mr. Ledlow came out that morning and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. The capacitor needed to be replaced. He is very professional, explained the problem and asked if I had any concerns or questions. The cost of the repair was very reasonable ($167) I did not ask for a discount, but he offered the $10 Angie's List discount, bringing the price down to $157. A one year guarantee on repair given as well."
